Some surprising things about me.

Not in any particular order.

I lived in Hawaii for five years (and miss it terribly). I have a master’s degree in applied linguistics. I have a secret podcast. I have practiced martial arts for most of my life. I can speak Spanish and German. I’m a pretty good salsa dancer. I have a communication consulting business called Sereia (meaning mermaid in Portuguese and also my capoeira name). I was named after the airy spirit character in Shakespeare’s The Tempest.
